Spooky Graveyard Dirt Cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 box (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix

  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)

  • 15 chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed into “dirt”)

  • 6 Milano or oval-shaped cookies (for tombstones)

  • Edible gel icing (black or dark brown, for writing)

  • Gummy worms, candy bones, or candy pumpkins for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Make the pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk cold milk and pudding mix until thickened (about 2 minutes).

  2. Fold in the whipped topping: Gently stir until well combined and fluffy.

  3. Layer the cups:

    • Spoon a layer of pudding into the bottom of each clear cup.

    • Add a layer of crushed cookies (“dirt”).

    • Repeat until the cups are almost full, finishing with a “dirt” layer on top.

  4. Create tombstones: Use edible gel to write spooky phrases like “RIP,” “BOO,” or “HELP!” on the Milano cookies. Insert one into each cup as the tombstone.

  5. Add creepy crawlies: Place gummy worms, candy bones, or pumpkins on top for extra Halloween flair.

Pro Tip:

Serve chilled, and for a glow-in-the-dark effect, place cups on a tray lined with a blacklight string to make the whites of the tombstones pop!
